SAS programming

The SAS programming language is a language developed by Anthony James Barr, a professor at North Carolina State University, which is used for performing statistical analysis on data. A number of spreadsheets and databases can be read in as input data as well as statistical analyses can be performed and the results can be output in the form of tables, graphs, as well as as RTF, HTML and PDF documents

SAS PROGRAMMING

  • SDTM-Standardizing data like the Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) simplifies programmers’ tasks, but also makes them repetitive. Standardizing and reusing codes becomes easier because SDTM domain structures and relationships are similar across studies.

  • ADAM-The ADaM’s goal is to develop dataset and metadata standards that will support the following: efficient generation, replication, and review of statistical analyses related to clinical trials
  • Data from the CDISC is used to create the TLFS
